95% of protocols processed, Putin has 64,3% of votes
Russia's Central Elections Committee has announced such results at 5 a.m. Minsk time.
59-year-old Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin is winning the election confidently, notes BelaPAN.
Leader of the Communist Party of Russia Gennadiy Zyuganov comes second (17,13%), non-party oligarch Mikhail Prokhorov - third (7,44%), Chairman of the Liberal-Democratic party Vladimir Zhirinovsky - fourth (6,25%), and leader of the party "Fair Russia" Sergey Mironov comes fifth (3,8%).
According to preliminary information, the voters' turnout made 64%.
