70 people killed, hundreds injured in Texas blast (video)
The explosion has occurred at the West Fertilizer plant in West Texas.
Texas blast: Block of 50 flats levelled
Over 100 people were injured in the blast, Texas Public Safety Department confirmed.
The number of casualties is unknown. From 60 to 75 dead were reported earlier.
Up to 75 homes were destroyed. A black of 50 flats was levelled. A representative of the department compared the situation to Iraq.
The reason for the explosion has not been reported yet.

Inhabitants of a number of districts are being evacuated due to ammonia leaks.
A few buildings are burning on the spot, BBC reports. People may be trapped inside. The injured are being evacuated by car and helicopter.
Up to a hundred buildings have been destroyed. Many of the injured are in a serious condition.
