2800 people to be amnestied this year
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has sent an amnesty draft to the government.
It will be dated for July 3 – the day when the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus is marked.
According to “Interfax-West”, the draft includes a paragraph that allows reducing sentences for 7900 convicts by 1 year.
