Polish Ministry of Foreign Affaires lodges protest to Belarusian Ambassador to Warsaw

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affaires has lodged a protest to the Belarusian Ambassador to Warsaw. Pavel Latushka was called to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affaires on the evening of August 15.
Let us remind you that Belarusian customs officers forbade the Vice-Marshal of the Polish Senate Krzysztof Putra, the leader of the opposition’s party “Civil Platform” Donald Tusk and a deputy of the Polish Seim Robert Tyszkiewicz to enter our country yesterday.

The Polish politicians were heading Hrodna to take part in the action dated for the national holiday – the Day of Polish Army. The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires claimed that Warsaw had been informed that some Polish politicians planning to visit Hrodna would be refused entrance to the country.
