Poetess Larysa Hienijuš commemorated in Zelva
Outstanding Belarusian poetess Larysa Hienijuš was commemorated in Zelva. Her 106th anniversary will be marked on August 9 this year. Candles were lit and flowers were brought to the poetess’ gave, Radio Liberty reports. The action in memory of Larysa Hienijuš was held under national white-red-white flags.
A church service in memory of Hienijuš will be held in Kalozha church in Hrodna on August 9. A round-table discussion dedicated to the protests will be organized at Hienijuš Library in the Orthodox centre.
