Pirates’ rapiers and a 19th century gun are detained at Poland-Belarus border
A collection of 19th century weapons has been detained by customs officers at the “Warsaw Bridge” check-point. One of the officers paid attention to a big suitcase belonging to a Moscower who was returning from Western Europe to Russia by bus.
Stilettos, cutlasses, broadswords and bayonets dating back to 1812 were found among her personal belongings. There was a 19th century gun in an excellent condition too. The Russian was also transporting decorations and special rapiers that probably belonged to pirates.
Customs officers think that the woman bought it all at an action and was going to sell the weapons in Moscow. The collection will be sent to Belarusian museums, informs the ONT channel.
