"Pinsk Wood DSP" equipment was 100% worn out
Equipment of the "Pinsk Wood" woodworking plant has been 100% worn out. The enterprise where a blast took place on October 25 and killed 5 people by now, has worked since 1965. This is reported by the official web-site of the Closed Joint-Stock Company "Pinsk Wood Holding Company". The extent of wear of the main building of the enterprise, where the tragedy took place, amounted to 54%. It was constructed 45 years ago.
Let us remind you, Brest regional public prosecutor's office is now investigating the criminal case in connection with the blast for breaking the rules of safety at explosion hazardous enterprises. Euroradio has been informed in the regional Public Prosecutor's office that there are no suspects yet, that they are checking everything, and experts are working at the tragedy site.
The commission which is supposed to investigate the reasons for fire at the enterprise has started its work upon the order of the State Secretary of the Security Council. On November 15 it should report the results of the investigation to the Security Council.
