Photo fact: Most entrepreneurs do not work after January 1

Usually, sellers are very active in the first few days after the New Year’s holidays, head of the association perspective Anatol Shumchanka noted. However, the activity has decreased this time which means the majority of entrepreneurs have decided to stop working, Shumchanka believes.  

Entrepreneurs asked the government to postpone the introduction of the law on certification of imported light industry goods before the New Year’s Day. They were allowed to sell the remaining goods by January 1, 2026. The authorities did not prolong the term.
