Over 18 months Belarusians have opened almost 12K businesses in Poland

From January 2022 to the end of June 2023, citizens of Belarus opened 11.7 thousand enterprises in Poland, according to the Polish Economic Institute (PEI) weekly review.

This is almost a quarter (24%) of the total number of companies opened by foreigners in Poland in this period.

As much as 66% of new Belarusian companies in Poland operate in the field of information and communication. The vast majority of them (86%) are engaged in software-related activities. Just over 11% of companies are engaged in professional scientific or technical activities. Another 5% specialize in construction.
