One dead, 8 hurt in car accident near Polatsk (photo)
Two vehicles collided head-on near the village of Harany on Sunday, August 18.
According tot he information provided by the press-office of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, it was a head-on collision of the Volkswagen Sharan and the MAZ bus.
The car driver died on the spot. The rescuers took him out of the car with the help of the special hydraulic equipment. The passenger was injured, the doctors took her to the hospital.
There were 20 passengers in the bus. 7 people were injured, 4 of them were sent to hospital, including one child.
