Belarus and Russia are expected to resume talks on the price of natural gas in 2020-2024.

Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Uladzimir Siamashka says it is not profitable to divert exports from the Baltic to Russian ports.

Belarus will pay $129 for 1000 cubic meters of Russia's natural gas in 2018, according to the amendments in the bilateral deal.

Russian DPM Arkady Dvorkovich said earlier the cost for Belarus would be below $130 per 1000 cubic meters.

Belnaftakhim CEO Ihar Lyashenka declines to elaborate on what countries are involved in the negotiations.

Belarus charges $84 instead of $88.9 for one ton of crude oil exported outside the Eurasian Economic Union, effective from May 1.
