Observer: Ballot papers moved overnight
She has registered a violation at a polling station, Vitsebsk observer Alena Shabunya told Euroradio.
She photographed transparent ballot boxes with ballot papers on the evening of October 10, the woman said. She also photographed the sealed door of the voting room.
Shabynya came to the polling station at 7.30 a.m. on October 11 (she had been told that the election committee would open the door at that time). However, the door had already been opened. The observer was surprised at the sight of the transparent ballot box.
Shabunya: “Everything was over when I was leaving yesterday evening. I photographed the transparent ballot box with ballot papers inside. I photographed the ballot boxes from the same sides in the morning and I started trembling when I compared the pictures.”
The observer is going to lodge complaints to the regional election committee and to the public prosecutor's office.
