Nunnery to appear in Brest fortress
It will be situated in the building that used to host caserns. The Mother Superior has already been appointed and sisters will arrive there next week. At first there will be only four of them, however, the nunnery will be able to accept more than a hundred nuns after a reconstruction. The fortress was not chosen accidentally. It used to host Alexander Nevski’s Cathedral. It will also be restored, informed the First Channel.
