No news about Andrei Klimov's fate after quarantine in prison

"I am in hell. I need to survive through Monday in order to see the hell as it is," Andrei Klimov wrote in his last letter from prison when he was still quarantined.
His wife Tatsyana knows nothing about the fate of the political prisoner since October 18.

Tatsyana Klimava: “When he was transferred to another unit, he had to write to me all the details about the conditions. The colony's administration did not tell me anything. I raised alarm yesterday.

As a result, I received a call from an officer with the Homel Department of Corrections who told me that Andrei had been called to an officer on duty and that he was writing a letter to me.

I think I will eventually get a letter from Andrei. Possibly, his letters were held by censors…"

Andrei Klimov was arrested on April 3, 2007 following his publication in the internet. The politician was charged with degrading the president and calling to overthrow the government. During a closed-door trial, Klimov was sentenced to two years in a high-security prison.
