New sectarians waiting for “the end of the world” appear in Penza
A new religious group waiting for “the end of the world” has been discovered by the police in Penza, informs “Interfax”.
About 20 people live in the so-called “Mihailovski monastery” surrounded by a huge fence and guarded.
It is reported that the majority of the recluses are women aged 45-50 originating from Penza District and from other regions. It has not been reported whether there are any Belarusians among them. The leader of the religious group is Alexander Zhukov, a 52-year-old man calling himself father Rafael.
According to some sources, the former leader of “Penza sectarians” Pyotr Kyznyatsou had visited “the monastery” before he organized the underground settlement.
