11-time Muay Thai world champion Vital Hurkou of Belarus on Saturday got revenge against Portugal's Diogo Calado who defeated the Belarusian on the latter's home ground in Minsk last May. This time around, Hurkou defeated Calado 29-28 at the 10th World Games in the Polish city of Wroclaw, reports Tut.by.

Remarkably, the Portugese won Hurkou in May with the same score.

The victory set Vital Hurkou for a 75kg semi-final against Troy Johns from USA.

Apart from Hurkou, 5 more boxers represent Belarus at the World Games in Wroclaw. The tournament is held every four years - next year after the Olympic Games. Athletes compete in sports that are not part of the Olympic Games program.
