Another person has been fined for the Chernobyl March that was not held in Minsk. Co-chairperson for the organizing committee for the creation of the Belarusian Christian Party Volha Kavalkova has been punished. She was one of the applicants for the action that was cancelled in the end. However, Kavalkova and a few dozen people gathered near the Academy of Sciences on April 26. They walked along Independence Avenue and Surhanau Street to the Park for Peoples’ Friendship. Minsk's Persamajski District Court has returned her guilty of participation in an unauthorized action and fined her BYN 382.5 ($190).

A few other people including independent analyst Syarhei Chaly were fined for the participation in the Chernobyl March rally earlier.
