Money transfers from Belarusian workers abroad increase by a quarter

Personal money transfers from Belarusians abroad grew 22.5% in the second quarter of 2017 against the same period in 2016. The transfers amounted to $267 million, reports BELTA.

Net salaries amounted to $96.6 million, almost 20% up. Money transfers by guest workers totaled $143.4 million, 23% up.

Money transfers from Belarus to other countries also increased - 1.5% up worth $27.4 million in the second quarter this year.
