Miraslau Lazouski, riot case suspect, transferred from KGB to Interior prison

Miraslau Lazouski will be transferred from the KGB prison to the Interior Ministry detention centre, Nina Shydlouskaya, representative of the families of the people charged in the so-called “patriots’ case” wrote on Facebook.  Lazouski was a co-founder of the White Legion in the 1990s. The organization ceased to exist in early 2000s.  Over the past several years, he worked as a director’s aide at Knihazbor publishing house. Miraslau Lazouski was detained on March 21. 14 people involved in “the patriots’ case” remain behind bars under investigation. They were charged with preparing for mass riots and forming an illegal paramilitary unit.

Last week, KGB handed over the case to the Investigation Committee.
