Minsker Alena Hlebka marks 112th anniversary today
Minkser Alena Hlebka is marking her 112th anniversary today, on July 14. She is the oldest inhabitant of the Belarusian capital.
Mrs Hlebka used to live in Navahrudak District of Hrodna Province where she worked on a collective farm before moving to Minsk's Maskouski District. The centinearian has 5 children.
There are 57 Minskers aged above 100. 53 of them are women.
14 people aged above 90 (9 men and 5 women) were still employed in Belarus as of May 2016, Euroradio reported earlier.
