Minsk opposition gets ready for mass action
Opposition activists are getting ready for an action “We demand an international investigation of the cases of missing people!”. The action is supposed to take place this evening near the Academy of Sciences in Minsk.
Representatives of the movement “European Belarus” have already pasted posters inviting to the event in the centre of the Belarusian capital and in microdistricts. Judging by the experience of the previous years, the action may turn into a chain of people holding hands along Independence Square for several hours. The Belarusian Constitution allows peaceful protests.
Leaders of the Belarusian opposition have already asked the UN Security Council to conduct an international investigation of the abduction of the famous Belarusians, informs a website “European Belarus”.
