Minsk milk plants forbidden to export products
Minsk milk plants have been temporarily forbidden to export their products. They will not be able to do it until the domestic market is filled with dairy products again. The Minister of Food Industry Leanid Rusak has informed about it. Enterprises have been advised to increase the purchasing price for milk by 25%, beef and pork – by 10%, and by 7% for poultry. According to the Minster, the order to increase purchasing prices for cattle-breeding products will soon be issued.
Retail prices will also increase, but non-commercial products will be influenced by the consumer price index. For example, the price for milk, kefir and sour cream will increase by only 5%.
