Information ministry seeks to enhance responsibility for online comments
Website owners in Belarus will be held responsible for visitors’ comments.
The Belarusian authorities have promised to enhance website owners’ responsibility for visitors’ comments, Minister of Information Liliya Ananich said.
Amendments to Decree No 60 ‘On usage of the national segment of the Internet’ have already been prepared, she said. The amendments will let eliminate the loopholes used by website owners to avoid responsibility for comments left by visitors.
