Leonel Messi scored a stunning second-time goal to push Argentina to a 2-1 victory in the Group F opener for the two teams in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
France defeated Honduras in group E 3:0 with Karim Benzema scoring two goals. Switzerland defeated Ecuador 2:1.
Argentina defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina in Rio de Janeiro 2:1. Argentina took the lead after Sead Kolašinac’s goal on 3rd minute. Lionel Messi scored a beautiful goal on 65th minute. Vedad Ibišević scored a goal 6 minutes from time but it was too late for Bosnia to come back.
Group G favourites Germany and Portugal will play in Salvador today. Ghana take on USA in Natal. Iran will clash with Nigeria in Group F.
