Mentsyuk’s wife is let off; her husband’s fate is being decided in Moscow
Raman Mentsuik, the person who rammed “the live shield” created out of cars with people on Minsk-Miklashevichy highway on the evening of March 2 has been detained in Moscow. Let us remind you that a criminal case is started against him. The Mentsuiks have been hiding for more than three months.
The press officer of Minsk Region Department of the Interior Alyaksandr Shunkevich told ERB:
"He is in a Moscow court now and they are deciding whether he should be let off or arrested. It will be known after 4 p.m.”.
The decision about Raman Mentsuik’s fate is being taken by Russian policemen because he was detained on the Russian territory. That is why Volha Mentsuik was been released.
This is what Shunkevich says:
"His wife has already been let off in spite of the fact that they know she had to be arrested. There is a criminal case started against her too”.
