Masty authorities do not recognize Belarusian referring to Lukashenka (photo)
A member of the movement “For Freedom” Ales Zarembyuk has received a reply to his appeal about the creation of Belarusian version of the official website of Masty District Executive Committee.
The head of Masty District Executive Committee Alyaksei Shafarevich informs that Russian will continue being the main language of the website. The official explained it by the fact that the other websites of district executive committees of Hrodna Region were in Russian.
According to this decree, the information in the President’s official webpage has to be in Russian (or Belarusian) and in English. The Masty official did not explain how the website of Masty District Executive Committee was connected with the official webpage of Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
