Man heads to mental clinic after knifing Bishop Safroniy
A 36-year-old man who stabbed Bishop Safroniy in Mahilyow last August will be sent for forced treatment in a mental clinic. Safroniy was immediately operated on and he eventually recovered well.
The attacker was described by investigators as a mental patient. He will be contained in a high-security mental facility, reports Zvyazda newspaper.
