Lyudmіla Atakulava is sentenced to 10 days of detention for taking part in action near Russian Embassy

An activist of “Malady Front” Lyudmila Atakulava has been sentenced to 10 days of detention for having taken part in an unauthorized action near the Russian Embassy in Minsk on August 11.
The decision has been taken by Minsk central court today. The girl was accused of violation of the rules of mass actions organization.

Let us remind you that the action organized by “Malady Front” took place on August 11. It lasted for about 15 minutes. Its participants – about 1.5 dozens young people – tried “to stop the Russian aggression directed at Georgia” and sent an appeal to the Ambassador.

Policemen detained four activists but had to let off three of them as they were minors. A protocol was drawn up against Atakulava. She spent the night in jail.
