Minsk musical school #10 is celebrating its 45th anniversary. Tut.by journalists visited the building in Engels Street, 1 and learnt that Nasta and Dasha Lukashenka study there. They are Dzmitry Lukashenka’s (the President’s middle son) daughters.

The girls’ parents are ‘serious people attentive to school and children’, headmistress Tamara Kunitskaya said.

"You cannot imagine how diligent the girls are. They take part in concerts and group classes when needed. They fell ill once and I was worrying about the concert in which they were to take part. Fortunately, they recovered in two days and appeared on stage,” the headmistress said.

Lukashenka’s granddaughters are talented, Kunistkaya said. They have managed to win the first prizes at the international contest and the grand prix at the contest of Belarusian talents. Nasta and Dasha’s mother asked her not to send the girls’ names to Belarus President's fund for support of talented youth until they got more prizes. It continued for several years until she managed to send the girls’ names to the fund in 2015, the headmistress said.
