Lukashenka has not met Putin

A working visit of Alyaksandr Lukashenka to Tajikistan finished yesterday. The Belarusian President took part in the meeting of the Council of leaders of EurAsEC member states and in a session of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation in Dushanbe. However, despite it was announced that Lukashenka would meet Vladimir Putin, the Presidents did not meet each other. A source in the Russian delegation informed Russian mass media that Vladimir Putin had no personal meeting with Alyaksandr Lukashenka in Dushanbe.

Lukashenka did not stay for the celebration of the today’s birthday of Putin. As it was informed, Putin was going to stay in Dushanbe till Sunday to celebrate his 55th anniversary there.

However, he announced he was going to celebrate his birthday in the Kremlin, reports Charter-97.
