Lukashenka gives 3-hour interview to Russian journalists

The Belarusian President met with the editors of the major Russian mass media in Moscow on June 29.

 

The interview took about 3 hours, the President’s press service reports. A wide range of questions were discussed there. Belarus-Russia relations were the main topic. Alyaksandr Lukashenka shared his expectation for the meeting of the Supreme State Council that will be held on Friday. Migration control issues were also touched upon.

Russian journalists were interested in Belarus-China cooperation and our country’s relations with the West.

Special attention was paid to the conflict in Ukraine. It was stated that it could only be settled at the bargaining table.

 

The Minsk delegation treated Russian editors to traditional Belarusian dishes, TASS reports.
