Lukashenka fires KGB chief in Homel
The official has been fired for ‘negligence’.
Colonel Ivan Lyaskouski has been sacked by the state leader, Interfax-West reports.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka also dismissed head of Brest Executive Committee Department of the Interior general Ivan Sauchyts for ‘actions discrediting the title of a member of the internal affairs department in connection with systematic failure to stick to the contract terms’ earlier this year.
