“I thought there were none of them left in our country!" Alyaksandr Lukashenka claimed.

There are  no homeless people or beggars in Minsk, the state leader said.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka: “We have houses opened for them in Minsk. We gather them [the homeless] there. We wash and clean them. And they will not die in winter."

Euroradio interviewed a beggar who was standing 300 meters away from Alyaksandr Lukashenka's Administration last week.

Lukashenka refutes being dictator

Our policy is harsh because we need to survive, he said.

Problems emerge regularly and "we need to unite so that we could survive", Lukashenka said.

The Belarusian President said that Poland was trying to occupy Western Belarus and that Lithuania "was teaching us how to live" although it lived at the cost of Belarusian transit. "Everything will collapse if we leave," Lukashenka claimed. He recalled the Swedish teddy bear plane with regret.

The state leader has commented on the current "demonization" of the Soviet dictators.

"I am far from Vladimir Ilyich and Joseph Vissarionovich. I have to walk  a long way to match them... Lenin created the state and Stalin made it stronger," Alyaksandr Lukashenka said.

Lukashenka on FEMEN: Naked women came to portray me

The state leader has recalled the action organized on the threshold of KGB in Minsk in December 2011.

Lukashenka: "Some naked women came from Ukraine to portray me. Well, I do not have such breasts...".

He noted that such actions were a provocation and the authorities had reacted to them in vain "by bombing and imprisoning".

Lukashenka has commented on the way Belarus national team played with Spain.

"I thought: we need to gather viewers, use the administrative resource. I gathered 40 thousand people. And what did we see? Our players shit their pants, their hands and legs were trembling. What a shame! Say hi to them for me. We will not gather viewers for Belarus-Georgia match."

Lukashenka: ice palaces are not for monkey tricks

The state leader has commented on the prospects of sport facilities construction in Belarus.

"This is not for monkey tricks, it requires millions of dollars. We did not build them for a dozen people with their parents... If the conditions are favourable, we will keep building. However, we need them to pay for themselves. They need state subsidies at the moment."

"We are not simple partners with Russia, we are relatives," stated the Belarusian President. Alyaksandr Lukashenka noted that people had started forgetting the Russian language in some post-Soviet countries. "You cannot find Russian words either on kiosks or on brothels," he said.  

Lukashenka: "There are two or there political prisoners who broke the House of the Government."

Alyaksandr Lukashenka reminded: "We do not want to quarrel or argue with the European Union."
