Labour Ministry lays off 51 people

Minister of Labour and Social Protection Mariana Shchotkina said on Monday that fifty-one staff were laid off at the Ministry of Labour 

Belarusian officials will have larger wages now due to optimization of the number of state apparatus officials, BELTA state news agency quotes Mrs Shchotkina as saying.


Euroradio reminds that under Alexander Lukashenka's decree the number of state officials in the country should be cut by 25% by July 1, 2013. Over 13 thousand officials will be laid off.
