Belarus is ready to take a constructive position in the interaction with Russia, Belarusian PM Andrei Kabyakou said at a meeting with Russian PM Dmitri Medvedev in Moscow on July 12.

“The Belarusian delegation is eager to take a constructive position to find a solution to these complicated issues,” Kabyakou said.

The meeting of the two Prime Ministers is aimed at an efficient approach, Medvedev noted.

“Besides the current problems of our cooperation, there is a huge issue in the sphere of energy carriers,” Medvedev said and added that consultations had been conducted by vice PMs and the corresponding Ministries. However, ‘it was agreed to meet in Moscow’ because no decision had been made.

At the same time Medvedev mentioned the high level of Belarus-Russia cooperation, BELTA reports.
