Joint declaration of member states to appear after Prague summit

The Belarusian delegation will  present the national position concerning the initiative “Eastern partnership” and conduct a number of bilateral meetings with the administration of the European Union and its member states at the summit in Prague, reports “Interfax”. The vice Prime Minister Uladzimir Syamashka and the Foreign Minister Syarhei Martynau are in the delegation.

The Joint declaration of member states is expected to be adopted after the summit.

Let us remind you that the initiative “Eastern Partnership” was approved by the European Union on March 20, 2009 and it is directed at the development of the EU’s cooperation with Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on equal and non-discriminative terms.
