International film festival Listapad opens in Minsk
The opening of the international film festival Listapad was held in Minsk on November 6. The opening ceremony took place in the "Moscow" cinema at 19:00. During the ceremony, there was a fashion show and a concert of popular Belarusian performers. Also at the opening of the festival was awarded the prize of the President of the country "for the preservation and development of traditions of spirituality in cinema."
The ceremony was attended by a special guest - French actress and director Fanny Ardant. The ceremony was completed by the screening of the "Valley of Love" by Guillaume Nicloux.
Film festival Listapad is the largest film festival in the country, which has been held annually since 1994. It was originally conceived as a creative platform for filmmakers of the CIS and Baltic States, but today it has geography expanded considerably. For example, in the current program, there are films from various countries in Europe and even South Korea.
The festival will continue until 13 November.
