Independent trade union activist fired from Hranit

The worker found it out when he returned to work after vacations on May 21, the human rights centre Viasna reports. He was not allowed to get down to work. Dubanosau was told that his contract had not been prolonged. However, the head of the shift did not show him any documents proving it.

Dubanosau was one of the initiators of creating a group of the Belarusian Independent Trade Union at Hranit in Mikashevichy. All the other trade union activists were fired earlier and did not manage to restore their right to work at the enterprise in court.
