IMF: Influence of economic crisis on Belarus has aggravated
The influence of the economic crisis on Belarus has aggravated in comparison with the beginning of the year. Experts of a supervisory mission of the International Monetary Fund came to the conclusion while working in Minsk from April 29 till May 13.
According to the head of the mission Chris Jarvis, IMF experts and Belarus made great progress during the discussion in the past two weeks.
The fund’s mission will return to Washington and report to the IMF administration. The report will be discussed by the Board of directors of the fund.
A decision about giving Belarus the second part of the credit will be taken afterwards. Taking organizational issues into account, it will not happen before June.
