Homel man did not return debt to a friend who then blew up his cottage

An explosion at one of the cottages near Homel was heard on the night of September 20. On the same day the Homel regional department of the Investigative Committee opened a case under the article "hooliganism."

During the search operations, police learned that the explosion was alledgedly caried out by  a repeatedly convicted resident of Homel region, who previously was a member of a criminal organization called Firemen.

It turned out that in this way the detainee wanted to "punish" the former business partner. The conflict was that the companion had not return the money. When they searched the detainee's place, they seized an Agram-2000 submachine gun with a silencer and 20 rounds of ammunition. Criminal case was launched due to illegal activities with firearms, ammunition and explosives, BelaPAN reports.
