Homel fan runs on football pitch to score goal (photo, video)
The man was indignant at the yellow card shown to a Homel player, picked the ball and dragged it to Dynama's goal line.
It happened during a match of Belarus Football Championship on July 14. Anton Matveyenka fell down in Dynama’s penalty area but the referee did not award any penalty and even showed him a yellow card for pretending.
Dynama were about to make a penalty shot but a viewer ran into the pitch, caught the ball and dragged it towards the goal line protected by Alyaksandr Hutar. Bliznyuk tried to stop him by pointing at his watch: there were still 5 minutes before the end of the match!
A policeman ran up to the old man and led him out. His fate is unknown.
Homel lost to Minsk Dynama 1:2 and they exchanged positions in the tournament rankings.
