Holubeu: Hrushavy quit science and politics to help Chernobyl children

Holubeu mentioned Henadz Hrushavy’s (member of the Supreme Council of the 12th convocation) readiness for self-sacrifice:

Valyantsin Holubeu: "He was one of the founders of the Belarusian People’s Front and of the committee Chernobyl Children renamed to To Chernobyl Children later. He was an outstanding philosopher but he almost quit his career to help solve the Chernobyl problem. He also started paying less attention to politics and science... He dedicated his life to helping children and people affected by the Chernobyl disaster.”

Holubeu also recalled Hryshavy’s bravery. Hrushavy was copying leaflets sent from Moscow in the office of Chernobyl Children in Minsk during the August Coup in 1991.
