Head of Investigation Committee becomes head of Volleyball Federation
The Volleyball Federation election conference has been held in the headquarters of the NOC.
The delegates voted for Valyantsin Shayeu unanimously. Shayeu has replaced Barys Batura who had headed the federation since 1999. He lost the position when he left the position of the head of Minsk Province Executive Committee. The conference delegates decided to make Batura an honorary head of the federation.
Pavel Ihnatau and Ihar Smalyaninau have become deputy heads of the Belarusian Volleyball Federation, BelaPAN reports.
The positions of director general and secretary general were introduced at the conference. They will be appointed by the head of the BVF.
