Has money supposed to be paid for Russian gas got to the reserves of National Bank?

The gold and exchange currency reserves of Belarus have reached 2 billion 924 million USD. It became possible due to the 625 million dollars gained from selling 12.5% of “Beltransgaz”’s shares to the Russian company “Gazprom”.

A representative of the national Bank Anatol Drazdou informed about it. Let us remind you that our country owes “Gazprom” more than 400 million USD. It was planned that the money gained after the selling of “Beltransgaz”’s shares would be used to pay the debt.

However, Alyaksandr Lukashenka demanded that the gold and exchange currency reserves of the National Bank should reach 3 billion USD this year instead of 2010 as it was planned earlier.
