Haidukevich asks for additional TV debates
Leader of the Liberal-Democratic Party Syarhei Haidukevich has asked the Central Election Commission to organize additional TV debates for the participants of the presidential election campaign. He would like to sue Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s unused air time for it, the politician’s election team told Euroradio. It is known that he incumbent President refused from his air time.
Another presidential candidate, Tatstsyana Karatkevich, asked for Lukashenka’s air time ‘to answer voter’s questions’ earlier. However, the CEC did not allow it because such an opportunity was not mentioned in the Belarusian legislation.
