Greece negotiations suspended

Greece and its creditors in Brussels have stopped their negotiations, BBC reports.

The European Ministers of Finance are accusing Greece of unwillingness to compromise. Greece must pay 1.6bn euro back to the IMF or announce a default until the end of June.

Greek PM Alexis Tsipras criticizes the creditors for their refusal to accept his reform suggestions. Creditors do not believe that such reforms are possible.

Tsipras has conducted a series of negotiations with the European Commission, European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund. They discussed the final tranche of urgent assistance to Greece – 7.2bn euro.
