Georgian opposition on hunger strike to protest election results
The Georgian opposition today announced a hunger strike in front of the country's state television building to protest against the declared victory of Mikhail Saakashvili in the first round of the presidential elections. The opposition demanded access to the live television and the second round of the vote. Around 30 people took part in today's hunger strike, reports Interfax.
