The Third Charter of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania published in 1744 was unveiled in the Presidential Library in Minsk. It was bought out from a collector in Poland, reports Zviazda newspaper. The purchase cost nearly 30 million rubels in the equivalent.

The book was found and brought to Belarus by the six-year history student at Belarus State University Andrei Radkou. He too invested his own money into this acqusition and passed it to the Presidential Library.

Three years ago, Radkou teamed up with Mahilou History Museum director Aliaksei Baciukou and today's deputy director of National Histiry abd Culture Reserve Niasviz Dzmiitry Yatskevich returned the 1588 Charter of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania to Belarus.

Andrei says the book was published in Vilnius. This is a Polish-language re-edition of the last version of the Charter of Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Under one cover, it collected several legal bills of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
