Gazprom’s contract of purchase of “Beltransgaz”’s shares is questionable

The signing of the contract on creation a Russian-Belarusian joint enterprise on the basis of “Beltransgaz” has been put off.
According to the press-service of the Belarusian Council of Ministers, it is connected with the fact that it is necessary to settle down one point at issue.

In connection with it the head of “Gazprom” Aleksey Miller will not come to Minsk. His delegate deputy Valerii Golubev will arrive instead of him.

At the same time, a representative of the state committee on Belarusian property claimed that the contract on selling 50% of “Beltransgaz”’s shares may be signed today, on May 18.

Belarusians hope that the point at issue will be settled and that the deputy of the head of the Russian company Golubev will be able to sign the contract as he is authorized to do it.
