Gazprom may liquidate representative office in Belarus

The Russian company Gazprom may liquidate its representative office in Belarus. The board of directors will discuss it on January 29. Gazprom is not commenting on the possible liquidation of its representative office in Minsk, RIA Novosti reports.

The representative office of Gazprom was opened in Minsk in December 1998. It protects the company’s interests in our country.

Gazprom CEO Aleksei Miller presented the construction concept of a Gazprom complex in September 2013. It had to be built instead of the bus depot Maskouski. However, the construction of a road interchange in Independence Avenue and Filimonau Street was suspended in December 2014. Minsk City Executive Committee and Gazprom could not reach an agreement on the cost of the construction.
